Capcom Have Finally Revealed Devil May Cry V

The last game in the series, DmC: Devil May Cry, was released five years ago. Maybe it's the short hair. During the Xbox presentation, Devil May Cry 5 took the stage and teased a very exciting direction for the franchise. Check out the trailer for yourself below.

Releasing a decade after its predecessor, Devil May Cry 5 is set to round off the Sons of Sparda Saga and is set several years after things were left off. The game also features the return of acclaimed director Hideaki Itsuno, and featured familiar faces like Nero, who used some of the series' iconic weapons to carve through hordes of demons. Capcom mentioned that Devil May Cry 5 is a direct sequel to Devil May Cry 4.

"We think we've made something that feels better than any action game we've ever created", Capcom said.

A short-haired Nero stars as the protagonist, wielding a badass sword and mechanical arm as his main source of causing mayhem.

Oliver wrote on Instagram: "I have to say I'm in total shock to hear that the unbelievable @anthonybourdain has just died". He was reportedly there filming his hit series Parts Unknown when his friend Eric Ripert made the tragic discovery.

Joining the playable characters is Nero's mechanic, Nico, who has built a modular robotic replacement for Nero's signature demonic arm. This feels like classic Devil May Cry to the letter, and we can't wait to play it.

The new Devil Breaker weapon lets you grab and pull enemies towards you so you can get stuck in at melee range even faster, and is great for maintaining a continuous combo. However, Capcom has not confirmed what his exact role in the game is at this time.
