Spielman: Report that Wright crashed Dallas receiver's Lamborghini is false

Williams said in a statement that a driver in front of him "slammed on his brakes", leading to the crash which was near Frisco Green Avenue and Lebanon Road in Frisco, Texas.

Williams was booked and charged with public intoxication and fleeing the scene of an accident. Williams told the officer he was at his home the "whole time" and Kendall Wright had taken the Lamborghini out at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday on a date. He'd called a tow truck to pick up the auto and was going to meet it when he fell off his scooter, Williams said.

OFFICER: Tell me what happened to your vehicle up there, man?

Police found the Lamborghini at 4:41 a.m., determined it was registered to Williams and went to his home in a gated community. The attendant at the gate said Williams had come through as a passenger in a vehicle about 10 to 15 minutes earlier. "We went to Baylor together".

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Wednesday that he spoke with Williams, who is recovering from offseason foot surgery, a couple of times regarding the incident. Lewis said he had not yet viewed the police report. Although the two did hang out that evening, police quickly poked some holes in Williams' story.

According to the police report, Terrance said Kendall left the crash scene and went to a club - but called Terrance to let him know where to find the auto. Police found Williams' cell phone in the wrecked Lamborghini.

The gate attendant told Officer Steve Byrom that Williams had arrived as a passenger in a auto 10 to 15 minutes before police arrived. "All of that is news to me". Anytime you hit a curve going about 60 miles per hour and struck his head, I don't know, but we're going to find out. "I have to do the work necessary when you have an injury like this when you hit your head if there is any head trauma as far as a gap in memory".

Thousands of flags to adorn veterans' graves
Flags placed at veterans' graves at Sunset Memorial Gardens - by a boys church group - was completed Thursday. The Rock Island National Cemetery will hold it's memorial day service on Monday starting at 10:45 a.m.

ESPN.com reported that Vikings officials said Wright and his agent assured them there was no truth to what Williams said about Wright's alleged involvement.

Now, it appears as though Williams' story is changing a little bit.

'The police officer, who I have met in the past in the neighborhood, saw me on the scooter and arrested me without performing any sobriety tests'.

Williams' statements to police contradict one he issued Saturday. "He was also believed to be a danger to himself as he had already fallen once from his electric bicycle and was also in the roadway where he could be struck by other motorists".

After Williams was handcuffed, Byrom found keys to the Lamborghini in the receiver's pocket.

"I know Terrance. He's solid". "He's solid. Real solid". "I'm hopeful. I don't know the details. I read his public statement about it and take it at face value".
